Hireling Hall was a nexus of gateways into a strange world with unheard-of creatures and bizarre menaces. There was a Con-wide creature; bipeds with a single stalked eye, that had evolved into several different ecological niches.

This was the Con where we learned players would prefer not to have high tech stuff showing up as items. Players kept claiming that there were three orbital battle stations but that was an error: my scenario was on a moon, dammit!
